We like to celebrate summer every chance we can get. Today, we surprised each person with a frozen fruit bar as they left. Popsicles lead to smiles...every single time. 😄 And our worship time and message from Pastor Jim Marsh reminded us the Gospel of Mark is saying “here is Jesus.” If you don’t know Him or you want to get to know Him better, read the book of Mark. He is the way, the truth and the life!

Pastor Jason King’s “storytime with Jesus” zero’d in on some root issues today. Have you ever been in a conversation with someone where you were listening, but you weren’t hearing? In Mark 4:1-20, Jesus connects your ears to your heart. To hear the Word in a way that produces a 100-fold return (the miraculous kind!), we want to position ourselves to hear. If the Word goes in us, we begin to reflect the author of the Word. We want that!!

Faith Bible Chapel was voted the “Best Place to Worship” and the “Best Place to Meet Someone” in Arvada in the annual Best of the Best contest, which is nominated and voted by readers of Colorado Community Media publications. If there were a category for “best church family,” we’d vote for you! Thank you for the honor of serving you! By the way, we're super proud that our school, Faith Christian Academy, was also voted “Best School,” “Best Summer Camps,” and “Best Boss” (way to go, Andrew Hasz, while our infant care/early childhood development center, the Sonshine Center, was voted “Best Nursery/Daycare.” Well done!

#SummerBlast has been an incredible week so far! Even though our awesome KIDS Director, Chelsea Ogan, says her feet think it's been going for a month, it’s really been a great two nights. 😆 * We have a million preschoolers, or 55. * We have 128 elementary kids. * We have 73 fabulous Impact Team members. Last night, 12 of those elementary kids chose to follow Jesus. There is nothing better than that!! #KidsAreWorthIt

God is perfect love. If you lean into that love, there's no longer fear about His will for your life.

What a privilege to show honor where honor's due. Over the past four+ days, thousands and thousands came to The Wall That Heals to see the names of Vietnam veterans who gave their lives in service to our country. And 100+ volunteered their time to set it up, counsel visitors and take it down. We love those who serve, we love our community, and we love our country. 💜 🇺🇸 💛

When the family comes together, incredible things happen! 🙌🏻 Communion. Special prayer for vets. Worship. And today’s teaching from Pastor Jason King on knowing what God’s will is and walking in it. Remember this...you haven’t missed His will. His gifts and His call are irrevocable! So for now, know that God rarely tells you the next step (what you don’t know) until you are obedient in the right now (what you do know.)

Welcoming "The Wall That Heals" onto Faith Bible Chapel property was something else! Volunteers have been working all day to set it up and it's now ready for viewing! * This three-quarters replica of the original Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C., honors the more than 58,000 servicemen and servicewomen who died serving in this war. * View the wall 24 hours a day (it's lit by LED lights) up until 3PM this Sun., June 23. * Come to the field off the West Campus, 6250 Wright St., Arvada.

Pastor Jason King reminded us today what's wonderful about Jesus: He confronts us and hugs us at the same time. He is the friend of sinners, hand-picking some guys that woulda raised some eyebrows. Thank you, Jesus, for seeing things in us that we would never see in ourselves.
